In this West Coast Swing Level 1 class we explore the communication between dance partners that allows for infinite variations on the steps you have learned. It's all about connection! We'll build on the basics to give you lots of fun ways to dance!

This class will be taught in 4-week blocks. The cost is just $30 for the whole block! The start dates of each 4-week block are: April 6th and May 4th.

Pre-requisites: Introduction to West Coast Swing (all 4 classes) or knowledge and understanding of the 4 six-count basics plus the basic whip.

Please wear shoes that are firmly attached to your feet and are not too grippy or slippery. Dress for a comfortable range of body movement.

Amy has danced for over 40 years and brings her professional experience as a classical dancer to her social dance teaching. Her training in ballet, jazz, modern, and contemporary give her deep knowledge and understanding of fundamental body movement, which fuel her passion for helping students to learn in a clear, accessible, and fun way. Amy is a founding member of DownStreet Dance and teaches a variety of styles.
